SHAPE+, a European Union-funded platform for innovative music and audiovisual art, has announced the list of artists that it will be working with for its 2024/25 season.
Bringing together 54 artists, it’s the largest list the platform has announced to date, and draws from the results of an open call, as well as curatorial propositions from the European festivals who constitute its membership. Going forward, it will continue to focus on collaborative residencies and one-off performances. The next year of activities will begin on July 15, and lasts until July 14, 2025.
The platform is now run by a union of 18 different festivals following the addition of Serbia’s Polja festival, The Netherlands’ Rewire, and Switzerland’s Full Of Lava. The latter, being ineligible for EU grants, is supported by Pro Helvetia (the Swiss Arts Council).
SHAPE+ is also currently finalising a syndicated network of 13 forward-thinking radio stations across 13 different countries, expanding their existing radio partnerships with NTS Live, Rinse FM, Ola Radio and Resonance FM.
