SHAPE+ Partners With Tbilisi’s Mutant Radio For Event

The two-day showcase will feature sets from Ale Hop and others

SHAPE+, the Creative Europe-supported initiative showcasing new and upcoming artists around Europe, is partnering with Tbili’s Mutant Radio for a two-day event later this month.

Set to take place at Mutant Radio’s outdoor space, the showcase will feature 12 artists, including Peruvian composer Ale Hop (pictured above); multidisciplinary artist Thea Soti; Hungarian artist The Stanley Maneuver; Danish trombone player Maria Bertel; and French violinist and visual artist Roxane Métayer.

SHAPE+ describes itself as a "European platform for innovative music and audiovisual art co-financed by the Creative Europe programme." It aims to support "emerging talent, connecting them to local communities and audiences through collaborative residencies with multiple artistic outcomes, commissioned artworks, as well as one-off presentations and performances."

The initiative previously hosted showcases at Berlin’s CTM and Brussels’ Schiev, and will pop up at a number of other European festivals throughout the year, including Ukraine’s Construction.

SHAPE+ Mutant Radio will take place from June 23 to 24, 2023. Find more information here.
