Shackleton Unveils New Solo LP, ‘The Scandal Of Time’

The seven-track record, his first solo effort since 2021, references German folk songs

Shackleton is set to release a new solo album, The Scandal Of Time.

Due out in November via his own Woe To The Septic Heart label, the seven-track record marks the UK artist’s first solo full-length release since 2021’s Departing Like Rivers. It sees vocalist Anna Gerth accompany him on some cuts which reference German folk songs and poems. A press release says it will be Shackleton’s last solo release "for a while," and the album arrives off the back of the release of a record under his The Purge Of Tomorrow alias and a collaborative album with Scotch Rolex, both of which came out earlier this year.

Woe To The Septic Heart will release The Scandal Of Time on November 10, 2023.
