Shackleton has a new alias, The Purge Of Tomorrow.
A solo moniker, it’s been launched as an outlet for less dancefloor-orientated material than much of his work as Shackleton. The project’s first release, The Other Side Of Devastation, comprises two tracks which have spawned from the live performance context, according to press materials. It will be issued via Barcelona-based label Modern Obscure Music, and follows on from an upcoming Shackleton album in collaboration with Scotch Rolex, Death By Tickling.
Modern Obscure Music will release The Other Side Of Devastation on May 5, 2023.
