Shackleton And Scotch Rolex Combine On New LP ‘Death By Tickling’

It's out next month through new label Silver Triplet

Shackleton and Scotch Rolex (AKA DJ Scotch Egg) have teamed up for a new collaborative album, called Death By Tickling.

Taking in 10 tracks, the record combines Shackleton’s marriage of bass music and psychedelia with Scotch Rolex’s anything goes approach. They wrote the record together in their shared Berlin studio. You can listen to lead cut ‘Opium Vibration’ just below.

This is the latest in a line of collaborative records involving Shackleton, which includes link-ups with Heather Leigh, Takumi Motokawa, Anika and Wacław Zimpel, among others. The UK artist also released a solo album, Departing Like Rivers, last year.

Scotch Rolex, meanwhile, has appeared on labels such as SVBKVLT and Hakuna Kulala in recent years, with the Gooooose collaboration JAC and collaboration-heavy Tewari LP respectively.

Silver Triplet will release Death By Tickling on March 31, 2023.
