Seun Kuti To Play Islington Assembly Hall

Seun Kuti will play alongside Egypt 80, the band that his father previously fronted, for a special show at London's Islington Assembly Hall next month

Seun Kuti, the youngest son of Fela Kuti, will play a special, intimate show at London’s Islington Assembly Hall next month, joined on stage by Egypt 80, the band that his father previously fronted.

Kuti will play music from across his three albums, including his most recent record, 2014’s A Long Way to the Beginning.

Support at the show will come from Nigerian-British musician Dele Sosimi and his Afrobeat Orchestra, while Agbeko will also play live. The show takes place on November 11, and you can find more information, as well as tickets, here.
