WATCH: Sealings – My Boyfriends Dead

Brand new single from Brighton noise merchants

Tonight, Brighton trio Sealings will be playing The Old Blue Last in London (for free, we should add) to launch their new single ‘My Boyfriends Dead’, being released through The Too Pure Singles Club on August 19.

The band sent us the video, directed by James Burgess of Boneyards, who’ll be supporting along with Theo Verney tonight, and the whole thing makes for an audio-visual treat. It’s a dead-eyed (the drummer’s wearing a skeleton mask, the perfect accoutrement for drummers everywhere) assault, with an excellent title, ramping up from harsh, mechanistic drums to echo-drenched vocals and then to guitar onslaught, revelling in glorious discordancy.
