Sea Change Returns For 2017

Hey Colossus, Grumbling Fur and more confirmed

Sea Change, which took place for the first time in August of last year, will return again this year, and the first names have been announced.

Ryley Walker, Julie Byrne, Nadia Reid, Hey Colossus, Masayoshi Fujita, Michael Chapman, Grumbling Fur, Holly Macve, Douglas Dare, Sex Swing, Gulp and Orielles have all been confirmed to play the festival’s second edition. There will also be guest curation from Heavenly Recordings, Erased Tapes, Basin Rock, Bella Union and us here at tQ.

Last year’s edition was one of the highlights in our calendar, having hosted storming sets from Teeth Of The Sea, Richard Dawson and Bo Ningen on our stage, and we are chuffed this year to return to host Sex Swing, Hey Colossus and Grumbling Fur.

Venues for this year’s edition, dotted around Totnes, include a 1960s civic Hall, two micro breweries, a 15th century church, a record shop and various other small intimate spaces. It’s all being put together by the team at Drift Record Shop and takes place this year from August 25-26. For more information and to get tickets, click here.
