Mick Harris is bringing his Scorn project to London club FOLD for a live gig later this month.
It’s over a decade since we last saw Harris play live as Scorn, at Supersonic 2011. It was an astonishing, crunching set that our John Doran proclaimed in a review a "joy to dance to" and one of the best sets of the festival that year. This latest gig at FOLD, which will see Haris play alongside visuals from Combat Recordings’ Stormfield, is being put together by Barbus, as part of the first event in their new midweek experimental series, Futur.Shock Live. It takes place on April 21.
In support are ever-hectic tQ favourites UKAEA, joined by Agathe Max and Luxul, who mixes vocals with viola. There will also be a new collaboration between Karolina Magnusson-Murray and SWARMM, along with a DJ set from Proteus.
