Samuel Kerridge and DVA Damas’ Taylor Burch have announced a new collaborative album titled The Other.
The album marks the first time Kerridge and Burch have collaborated on record, and sees Burch contributing spoken word vocals to Kerridge’s productions. An audiovisual project with film director Daisy Dickinson involving projections on pieces of semi-transparent fabric will also run alongside the album. "The LP is abundant with melody and variation whilst still retaining the physical power and presence," Downwards, who will release the album, says. It’s out on May 3 and follows on from an audiovisual collaboration between Kerridge and Burch called ‘The Mysterious Other’ which was launched in 2016.
