LISTEN: Rustie – ‘Slasherr’

Gaudy, proggy, synth-meltdown! Listen below

Rustie, Glasgow’s resident creator of gaudy and intensely overloaded hip-hop/dance music mutants, has announced a new single via Numbers. Entitled ‘Slasherr’, it’s the first new music to arrive from him since his 2011 meltdown of a debut album Glass Swords, and operates in much the same vein, its monstrous build-up and splintered melodies feeling like a sequel to that album’s dizzy peak ‘Ultra Thizz’ – listen via the embed above. The single pairs it with another track, ‘Triadzz’, and will be available on 12" and digital download formats. ‘Slasherr’ is currently available to buy as a separate download, or you can pre-order the whole single and the 12" via Bleep – click here.
