Roddy Frame, the singer-songwriter and former Aztec Camera frontman, has just announced his fourth solo album. Titled Seven Dials, it’ll be out via Edwyn Collins’ AED Records (the album was also recorded with long-term Collins collaborator Seb Lewsley at West Heath Studios in London), and is out almost exactly eight years after his previous solo LP, Western Skies from 2006, on May 5. He’s given us a first taste of the record with ‘Forty Days Of Rain’ – have a listen below.
Frame will be following the album’s release with a show at Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London on May 22, with details of a full UK tour set to be announced shortly; get tickets via his website here.
