Rocket Recordings is set to mark 25 years of operations this year with the release of a vinyl-only compilation, Launch300.
Out soon, the release is the 300th on Rocket Recordings and will feature exclusive and unreleased tracks by the likes of Gnod, GOAT, Shit And Shine and The Utopia Strong, among others. The record will be pressed on Silver Galaxy vinyl, and there will only ever be one pressing of it, the label said. You can watch a teaser video above, ahead of the pre-order being made available via Rocket Recordings’ Bandcamp page this Friday (April 7) at 8am BST.
Launched in Bristol in 1998, Rocket Recordings has carved out a place as one of the UK underground and experimental music scenes’ key labels. It’s put out records by the likes of Gnod, Teeth Of The Sea, Shit And Shine, Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs, Hey Colossus, GOAT, Sex Swing and more since its founding.
