Richard Skelton Rough Trade Q&A

Musician and author to answer questions on new book informed by time living in Cumbria

This Wednesday Rough Trade East will host a Q&A session with author and musician Richard Skelton in support of his new book Beyond The Fell Wall.

The book draws on Skelton’s thoughts on the Cumbria hills and valleys among which he has spent nearly half a decade living. It is described as a “poetic enquiry into the inanimate life of a landscape – its unheard melodies and unseen movements.” and comes accompanied with illustration by illustrations by printmaker Michael Kirkman. The book follows on from a number of works by Skelton informed by various landscapes such as 2009’s Landings and 2012’s Moor Glisk. The Q&A will be conducted by our very own Luke Turner and it’s a free event with all welcome. For more details, head here.
