Following the release of 2014’s Nothing Important which earned Richard Dawson inclusion in this year’s tQ Jovian Bow Shock list, Weird World have announced the reissue of the two classic albums from Tynside’s Richard Dawson.
The Magic Bridge and The Glass Trunk, originally released in 2011 and 2012 respectively, will be reissued on December 11. They will both be available in LP, CD and digital formats. “Most of the tracks on [The Magic Bridge] still make frequent appearances in Dawson’s reputedly firebrand live sets and little wonder why,” says the announcement of the two reissues, while The Glass Tank is said to have been “triggered by a commission to respond to the local museum sevice’s archives”.
