This year’s Rewire Festival, which will take place at The Hague in The Netherlands from November 8-9, has confirmed its first round of acts.
Heading up the bill are the German DJs Ricardo Villalobos and Max Loderbauer who will put in a live performance of Re:ECM an album of compositions inspired by the jazz record label ECM’s catalogue, while Norwegian jazz trumpeter Nils Petter Molvaer will collaborate with Moritz von Oswald of Berlin’s Basic Channel label. There’s also Swedish electro-rockers Tape, London duo Moon Ate The Dark and ambient/trip hop producer Kelpe, playing material from his forthcoming new album Fourth: The Golden Eagle on June 14.
Apart from concerts, the festival will also host art exhibitions, performances, lectures and artist talks; for full details and tickets, head here.
