With Dutch festival Rewire now a month away, organisers have confirmed details of this year’s discourse programme which will feature talks from a number of those playing at the festival.
Beatriz Ferreyra and Lori Napoleon, who are playing live, will present talks on their works in electronic composition, while James Holden will team up with Resident Advisor to record a live edition of their weekly podcast The Exchange.
Elsewhere on the discourse programme, Juliana Huxtable will give a talk on her own artistic practices while Laurie Anderson, who is the festival’s Artist In Focus for 2018, will present a screening of her feature-length film Heart of a Dog.
The festival has also confirmed additional performances from South Korean composer Park Jiha, Juju & Jordash, Dutch producers Syncom Data and Identified Patient and a new collaborative project by Ivan Vukosavljevic & Il Hoon Son. They join the likes of Fatima Al Qadiri, Floating Points, Panda Bear, Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, Karen Gwyer, SUUNS and many more on the festival’s music programme.
Rewire takes place in the city centre of The Hague from April 6-8. For tickets, and more information, head here.
