Return Of The Living Dead Screening!

Brains, rabid weasels and graveyard dancing come to Dalston

Cult film crew Cigarette Burns return to the Rio Cinema this Saturday May 19 to host a special screening of the late, great Dan O’Bannon’s 1985 horror comedy The Return Of The Living Dead, to celebrate its imminent Blu-ray and deluxe DVD release by Second Sight Films.

The zombies come out at 11.30pm and we’re promised a new hi-def transfer with the original goth/garage punkin’ soundtrack, featuring The Cramps, The Damned, TSOL, Roky Erickson, etc. Be sure to check the Cigarette Burns website for more information and, if you haven’t done so already, read event organiser Josh Saco’s incisive tQ review of the new Tim Burton picture.
