Producers Arca and Daniel Lanois, as well as saxophonist Colin Stetson, are amongst the acts that have been enlisted to contribute music to the soundtrack for Red Dead Redemption 2.
The video game, produced by Rockstar Games, will be available for PS4, with the soundtrack having been pulled together by the company’s usual soundtrack producer Woody Jackson. Jon Theodore of Queens of the Stone Age and formerly The Mars Volta has also contributed music to the soundtrack, with the full list of artists involved set to be unveiled this Friday (October 26).
Lanois’ contribution is said to extend to producing "all of the vocal moments" with "additional vocal performances from a range of award-winning artists to be revealed soon".
