Real Lies have had a good summer of it, with utter banger ‘The Checks’ one of our tunes of the year. Now they’re back with ‘White Flowers’, the next stop on the night’s trajectory – the moment when you’re trying to avoid the light creeping round the curtains, still chewing away on the sofa while everyone else has left, including that longed-for ex.
A collaboration with producer Tom Demac, ‘White Flowers’ comes with the video above, the long and lonely walk back through London’s deserted nocturnal transport system, seen through a psychedelic prism of petals. ‘White Flowers’ is out today, and can be purchased from Kompatk here.
