One of London’s premier online radio stations, Radar Radio, is lining up a day of DJ workshops at its studios in order to give young people a chance to learn and hone skills with the support of a number of the station’s own DJs.
Hosted alongside Smirnoff, the station is providing a day of DJ workshops aiming to teach vital skills in DJing as well as lessons on individuality and breaking through as a DJ. The day marks the third in an ongoing series of workshops hosted by the station following on from a day for female music producers starting out as well as a series of mentoring sessions such as a music writer’s workshop.
BBC 1xtra’s Monki will be one of those giving tips on the day while London’s Hipsters Don’t Dance collective, who host a Radar show, will also be on hand alongside other Radar hosts. The application to take part closes tonight (December 1) at midnight and is open to those who are 18 and over. For more information, click here.
