And so finally the summer has f**ked off, we woke to a good drizzle, and the finest season can get cracking. To mark this moment, Luke Turner has made a mix of some of his favourite listening during 2014 with tracks from the likes of The Bug, FKA Twigs, Cured Pink, Ugandan Methods vs Prurient, Furfriend, Blacknecks, Daniel Patrick Quinn, Vessel, Consumer Electronics (with Enya, a mix that made our former new music editor Rory Gibb weep on his last day in the office), Cooly G, Gazelle Twin and Grumbling Fur’s reinterpretation of Shirley Collins’ ‘Lowlands’. There’s also Kelela, Coil remixing Nine Inch Nails, British Murder Boys, Pansonic, Fad Gadget, Total Freedom, Blixa Bargeld and Teho Teardo.
