The Roots drummer Questlove has shared details of a new book, Music Is History.
Set to be published in October, the book will see Questlove using music to explore American history. Across 336 pages, he will focus on one song released each year between 1971 and 2021, exploring how it was both informed by and captured life at the time. Each chapter will also be accompanied by a playlist specially curated by Questlove himself. Find more information here.
