Hi-Fi Listening Bar Public Records To Open In Brooklyn

A new performance space and hi-fi listening bar will open in Brooklyn next month

Public Records, a new performance space and hi-fi listening bar, is set to open in Brooklyn on March 21.

The space will consist of three rooms – a hi-fi record bar in which collectors of rare records will present music, a performance space for live acts and DJs and a vegan café and magazine shop.

Optimo, CAN’s Damo Suzuki, Call Super, Laraaji and Hieroglyphic Being are amongst the artists who will DJ or play live as part of the opening season’s programme in the performance space, otherwise known as the "sound room."

The record bar and performance space will both feature custom-built soundsystems, made alongside Devon Turnbull of OJAS and Jason Ojeda of VOID. There will also be custom-built rotary mixers courtesy of Isonoe. For more information on the new space, head here.
