Prurient Announces New Album

Dominick Fernow set for double album, Frozen Niagara Falls, due out on Profound Lore in May; watch a trailer below

Noise music bigwig Dominick Fernow has just announced a new Prurient album. Frozen Niagara Falls will be out in May through Profound Lore, and promises big things: it’s a near 90-minute double album, with the press release declaiming that it "could very well be recognised as the Prurient magnum opus".

As it stands, there’s scant other information available at the moment, other than the fact that Fernow (who also operates as Vatican Shadow and runs his Hospital Productions label) began the album at the titular waterfalls in 2013 and completed it on Valentine’s Day this year. For the time being, watch and listen to the very lovely-sounding trailer above.
