The much-delayed Prince memoir The Beautiful Ones has finally been given a release date of October 29.
Set to be published by Random House, the book was first announced in March of 2016, around a month before Prince’s death. Publishing agent Esther Newberg has previously revealed that Prince submitted around 50 handwritten pages for the memoir before his death.
Random House describes the 288-page book as "the deeply personal account of how Prince Rogers Nelson became the Prince we know: the real-time story of a kid absorbing the world around him and creating a persona, an artistic vision, and a life, before the hits and the fame that would come to define him."
