Primal Scream have shared a previously unreleased remix by Andrew Weatherall of their track ‘Shine Like Stars’.
The late DJ and producer’s take on the Screamadelica track has been shared for the first time ahead of a trio of special releases due out next month, which will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the band’s classic album, which Weatherall produced. The remix, which you can listen to above, appears on the tenth disc of The Screamadelica 12" Singles Box Set, one of the three forthcoming releases. It also includes an instrumental version of Weatherall’s remix.
Sony will release The Screamadelica 12" Singles Box Set and Screamadelica (12" Picture Disc) on September 17, 2021, and Demodelica on October 15, 2021.
