Redoubtable gents Jim, Gordon and Shins ex-of Earl Brutus, who went on to form The Pre-New are set to release a new single remixed by St Etienne this week.
The track ‘Do You Like My New Hair?’ (Saint Etienne Pre-Mix) will be available to download on iTunes from Tuesday November 1.
The band say they are working on a new album provisionally called Music For People Who Hate Themselves and will be released on their own Pre War Black Ghetto label early next year, "just before the world comes to an end".
