Powell Wants You To Get In Touch

Producer shares email address on billboards in New York and London

Powell is up to his old billboard-bothering tricks again having put his email address on billboards in London and New York encouraging people to ask him anything.

Sending a message to the email address will give you an in-depth guide to interviewing the producer, including guidelines on how to greet him and open the interview. Powell says he has a new record out soon and this new form of communication with fans will allow him the opportunity to offload old music that will not make the record and will never be released otherwise.

“I’m gonna reply to anyone and everyone yes, the conversations I’ve already had are bonkers,” he says. “I will give away different music to different people so they feel extra special.”

The stunt follows on from last year’s billboard to promote single ‘Insomniac’, which saw him publish an email exchange with Steve Albini in which Alibini railed against dance music after a sample request.
