London duo Post Louis are currently gearing up to release their debut EP, This Could Be A Bridge, out on November 12 via Inflated/Stare Records. The band, comprising former Cajun Dance Party guitarist Robbie Stern and singer Stephanie Davin, have so far posted three tracks from the release – head to their SoundCloud to hear them – including its brilliant title track, which you can stream below. Opening up with some of the rough-hewn melodics of early Pavement, which give way to swathes of pitch-bent shoegaze guitar in the chorus, the track works up to a glorious closing section where steely bursts of feedback and distortion-rinsed drums subsume Davin’s vaulting vocal lines, the whole thing just about keeping grip of a fragility that courses throughout:
