The latest record from Ploy, previously found releasing with Hessle Audio last year, sees him return to Bristol’s Timedance label for their 10th release.
The record sees the producer follow up his previous release with the label exactly one year later. Across the four tracks that feature, the producer thrusts percussion to the centre of his sound palette, be that in the eerie drum workout of ‘Intrigued By The Drum’ or in the more hushed, tropical drums that carry along closer ‘Bad Seed’, which is streaming above.
As with all records from Batu’s Timedance label, it’s a must-listen, with the label continuing to offer up some of the freshest, most exciting club music that the UK currently has to offer. The record is out on July 14.
