Todmorden in West Yorkshire is this weekend fulfilling its annual duty of hosting the Tor Ist Das! Festival, and in advance they’ve unveiled a 25-track playlist featuring some of the acts on the event’s bill, which include Laura Cannell, Richard Dawson, Woven Skull, Kemper Norton, Isnaj Duj and more. Also on the festival’s line-up this weekend are Mayhem’s Maniac, Nurse With Wound’s Andrew Liles and Manchester-based noise merchants Desmadrados Soldados De Ventura. The festival will open tomorrow (August 14), and the set of live performances, DJ appearances and workshops that follow will take place at the town’s Grade 1-listed Unitarian Church. On both the Saturday and Sunday there will be an after party at the Golden Lion pub following the festival’s 10pm curfew.
