Crass’ Penny Rimbaud will make an appearance at London’s Corsica Studios next month for the inaugural edition of new night Platform Zero.
It’s billed as a night of ‘words, music and visuals’, and this edition will be taking place to mark the approaching 100th anniversary of the end of the ‘Great War’. Rimbaud will be reciting What Passing Bells…The War Poems of Wilfred Owen, and will be accompanied by Liam Noble on piano as well as Kate Shortt on cello.
Visuals for the performance will be provided by artist Gee Vaucher with whom Rimbaud has frequently collaborated. It all takes place on October 11. Tickets can be found here.
