PJ Harvey & John Parish New LP Details

Songwriting duo record follow-up to 1996 collaboration

A new collaboration from PJ Harvey and John Parish will be released on March 30th 2009 via Island Records.

A Woman A Man Walked By is the follow up to Harvey and Parish’s 1996 collaboration Dance Hall at Louse Point. It was recorded in Bristol and Dorset and mixed by Flood.

Parish’s first collaboration with Harvey came with a co-production credit for 1995’s superb To Bring You My Love. He is also credited as a musician on Is This Desire? and co-produced last year’s spectral White Chalk album.

An accomplished composer in his own right, Parish has recorded numerous soundtracks and has worked with artists including Eels, Giant Sand and Goldfrapp.
