Pioneer Launch ‘Affordable’ Digital CDJ

XDJ-700 allows users to select music entirely through digital means from a USB, computer, smartphone or tablet device

Pioneer are regularly updating and launching new models of their much respected CDJ and with the move further into digital DJing methods, they have launched the XDJ-700, an ‘affordable’ model of DJ turntable.

A successor to their XDJ-1000 model the player again allows DJs to mix entirely without the use of actual records while also allowing users the ability to link the turntable with android and iOS devices such as tablets and computers. The model comes complete with a touchscreen for easy use, including QWERTY keyboard, and is compatible with Pioneer’s Rekordbox software. The model comes with a recommended retail price of €699, a significant sum less than many of their other turntables. If it piques your interest, you can take a further look at how it works, ahead of its release in December, in the video above.
