As we’ve previously reported, Manchester post-punk outfit PINS have their debut album Girls Like Us due out via Bella Union on September 30. We’ve already heard the first single from it, the metallic, strident rocker ‘Get With Me’, and now we’ve got the video, a climatically topical, sun-blanched clip, produced by band member Lois MacDonald – have a watch above.
Say the band about the video: "We are a little captivated with analogue equipment. We have recorded our debut album to tape. We love the rawness and tangibility of doing things this way. Lois dug her old Super 8 camera out and took it on tour earlier this year. We have had the pleasure of working with other people on our videos (Sing J Lee and Amy Watson) but also like to keep the DIY approach by making things ourselves. It’s genuine and real. The new single ‘Get With Me’ was a bit of a hidden gem but sums up where we are at now – having a great time doing what we love, which evidently includes dancing on a beach in the English sun. It’s infectious."
