Philip Jeck In London This Friday

Haunted turntablist to play at the Vortex Club this Friday, 16th September

The excellent Philip Jeck, who uses an array of battered junkshop vinyl and ancient turntables to craft otherworldly, slowed-down soundscapes, plays in London this Friday 16th September. Part of Jonny Mugwump’s regular Exotic Pylon series of gigs, the show is at the Vortex in Dalston, and also features Ship Canal, Kemper Norton, Time Attendant and Bruce Gilbert as DJ Beekeeper.

Expect some static-coated, deeply involving ambience and the odd, jarring burst of white noise.

Tickets are £10, and are available from here.
