Last month, New York noise artist Pharmakon announced her second album, Bestial Burden. Inspired by a new-found hyper-awareness of the body following some major surgery she had after the release of her debut album, Abandon, last year, it’s out on Sacred Bones on October 13, before which she’ll be heading out on the road with Swans, no less.
She’s now put out the first track from the album, ‘Body Betrays Itself’ – play that above.
