Iconic Bauhaus frontman Peter Murphy makes an appearance as ‘The Cold One’ in Eclipse, the latest installment in the blockbusting Twilight saga.
Speaking about the role, Murphy said: ‘Who else could have and should have done it? It was really lovely and smart of David Slade to ask me…I was honoured, actually.’
Murphy’s last film appearance was in the 1983 vampire thriller The Hunger, where Bauhaus performed ‘Bela Lugosi’s Dead’ during the opening credit sequence.
Murphy is preparing to release his ninth studio album – aptly titled Ninth – in the Autumn, and will embark on a worldwide tour later this month. Details below:
