Pet Shop Boys To Release New B-Sides Comp

Compilation of the duo's B-sides from 1996 onward, entitled Format, for release in February

In an interview with Varsity, Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe have revealed they are to release a second Pet Shop Boys B-sides compilation this coming February.

“I was listening to some of our old songs recently," said Tennant in the interview, "because we’re putting out another B-sides album in February, like an Alternative part two. But we’re calling it Format".

The album is due to follow on from where 1995’s previous B-sides compilation Alternative left off, gathering together all of their B-sides released between 1996 and 2009. It will start with ‘The Truck Driver & His Mate’, described by Lowe in the interview as "our little tribute to Oasis".
