Founding member of Pavement Scott Kannberg has told an Australian newspaper that new material from the band is "inevitable" if their forthcoming reunion tour goes smoothly.
Speaking to The Age, Kannberg said: "If [the reunion] is enjoyable for us, I think…we’ll make some more music.
"We’re just going to see how it goes. [But] if I was a fan of the band, I’d want to hear some new music."
Kannberg, who started his own band Preston School of Industry after Pavement split up, added: "With Pavement, you just got used to everybody’s personality and you kind of knew how to deal with each other.
"You didn’t really have to think. You kind of miss that. You miss the jokes. That’s what I’m looking forward to: hearing the same jokes from 10 years ago."
