Pauline Oliveros’ ‘The Wanderer’ To Be Reissued On Vinyl

It's the first time the 1984 work has been made available on vinyl since its original release

Pauline Oliveros’ 1984 release The Wanderer is to be reissued on vinyl for the first time next month.

Coming via Important Records, the reissue marks the first time the album – which has sold for significant sums of money on resale websites like Discogs over the years – will be made available on vinyl since its original release. The music featured on the album was recorded in 1982 for the Springfield Accordion Orchestra, and performed with twenty accordions, two bass accordions and five percussionists.

Important Records will release The Wanderer on July 8, 2022.
