Perhaps intending to clear the decks before his much-mooted new doom direction, Paul Weller is to release a DVD and live album in June.
Just A Dream features tracks recorded for a BBC session, interviews with Weller and his band, and live material recorded at the 02 arena, reports NME.com.
The Sun also today revealed that Weller turned down a lifetime achievement award at the Ivor Novellos as he’s still mourning his father and manager John.
"Paul and John had an exceptionally close relationship," a source reportsd. "John went on the road with The Jam when Paul was just 17 and was his manager throughout his career. Every night they drank together, they were best mates as well as father and son so it’s hit Paul double hard."
