Paul McCartney and Elton John are feeling the pinch thanks to the economic downturn, according to the annual Sunday Times Music Millionaires Rich List 2009.
In contrast, Noel and Liam Gallagher (jointly) are one of only three in the list to post increases in wealth during the past year.
The list, which is published in full this Sunday (April 26), reports that Elton John has seen his fortune drop by 26 percent from £235 million in 2008 to £175 million this year, while Paul McCartney is suffering from a Heather Mills sized dent, slipping from £500million to £440million.
The Gallagher siblings, however, upped their wealth by 16 per cent from £45million to £52millon.
