Pan Daijing Returns To PAN For New Album, ‘Tissues’

The album is comprised of audio from a 2019 show at London's Tate Modern

Pan Daijing is releasing a new album through PAN, Tissues.

The record, out in January, is a four-part audio excerpt of a 2019 show at London’s Tate Modern, with Daijing presenting a multi-sensory installation at the gallery’s live art space The Tanks. Alongside Daijing’s own electronics, the record features vocals from a counter-tenor, a soprano and a mezzo-soprano, as well as Daijing’s own voice and a number of other vocal samples. Preview the album via lead cut ‘Part Two – A Found Lament’ just below.

PAN will release Tissues on January 22, 2022.
