Paisley Park Open From Next Month

Prince's residence will be opened to the public in a matter of weeks

Prince’s Paisley Park residence will be open to the public from October 6 following plans to convert it into a museum following his death earlier this year.

As Rolling Stone reports, visitors will be given access to the whole first floor of the home and a chance to see a whole host of memorabilia belonging to the musician, including vintage outfits such as the one he wore during the Super Bowl halftime show in 2007.

Prince had specified before his death that he wanted his home to be opened to the public for tours and had even stated how he wanted the tours to be laid out. "We’re seeing emails he sent four months before his death that say how he wanted it," a source told Rolling Stone. "He wasn’t foreshadowing anything. He always wanted his fans to come here.
