Rocket Recordings has confirmed details of its next release from Paisiel, the duo of Portuguese drummer João Pais Filipe and German sax player Julius Gabriel.
The self-titled album is the duo’s first and was originally released last year on cassette via the Lovers & Lollypops label. Its re-release will see it pressed to vinyl by Rocket Recordings. Above, you can hear an excerpt from the track ‘Satellite’, which in its full form comes in at 19 minutes. It’s one of three tracks on the album.
The re-release of Paisiel follows on from João Pais Filipe’s collaboration last year with Tomaga and Vanishing Twin’s Valentina Magaletti on the album CZN. Paisiel will play live shows in the UK in support of the album’s release with details on those shows to follow soon. The Rocket Recordings pressing of the album will be available from March 22.
