OUT.FEST has revealed a second wave of acts playing its 2023 edition this October.
Marking the Barreiro festival’s 19th edition, the event will this year newly welcome Liturgy (pictured above); Alvin Curran; DJ Marcelle; Scotch Rolex & Shackleton; Nok Cultural Ensemble; and Dali Muru & The Polyphonic Swarm. The festival will also this year partner with the Creative Europe-supported SHAPE+ initiative, which supports new and experimental music acts, with a showcase that so far includes the previously announced Cucina Povera, as well as French trio Nze Nze and Portuguese composer Rita Silva. More names will be added to the SHAPE+ showcase in the coming months.
