Artist Gerald Scarfe has selected 11 of the 50 original paintings he made for Pink Floyd’s The Wall project.
As FACT reports, when the band began work on the project, they commissioned Scarfe to put together a series of paintings to bring to life in the 1982 album’s film adaptation, and some of those paintings will be available for sale for the first time through the San Francisco Art Exchange.
These paintings include The Scream, The Teacher and Comfortably Numb – you can check a couple out above and below. The paintings won’t be cheap, but if you wanted to find out more, including a full list of the paintings for sale and the concepts behind them, you can do so here.
The paintings will be exhibited to the public at the San Francisco Art Exchange this July.
