Oren Ambarchi and Jim O’Rourke, the redoubtable pair of experimentalists, have been collaborating again, picking up where they left off with their 2011 album Indeed. They’ve got a new record, Behold, on the way, due on Editions Mego on March 3, as FACT report, with the label sharing an excerpt from the first of the offering’s two long-form tracks – take a listen above.
Last year, Ambarchi put out Shade Themes From Kairos, the soundtrack to the short film Kairos he recorded with Stephen O’Malley and Randall Dunn, one of our favourite albums of 2014, so we wait with bated ear to hear this new collaboration in full.
